ABOUT THE ARTIST
Michelle, an Ohio native, has been creating art her whole life. She graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Selected Studies in Art. She later obtained her Art Education Certification from Avila College in Kansas City, Missouri. Michelle has a wide range of teaching experience ranging from preschool students through adults. She spent the past seven years teaching elementary and high school art in her hometown school district. Her passion in teaching is to give her students art experiences they could not otherwise have. She has worked with a variety of artists throughout her career and has her artwork in private collections around the United States.
Paintings by Michelle are now on display and available for purchase at Talisa Jewelry, in Bronxville, New York - a jewelry boutique that showcases exquisite hand-made, fine jewelry. She also offers commissions to create work in colors specific to her individual clients.
Michelle is working on her Arial Landscapes Series and The Penny Expedition series at her new studio in the Financial District in New York City.
